Collins Blay & Co. is a full-service public accounting firm serving the accounting and taxation needs of the Kingston, Ontario area. We provide financial statement assurance and accounting services, personal, corporate and trust tax services, personal financial planning services, information system consulting, business advisory services and investigative and forensic accounting services.

Following successful careers with major public accounting firms, Stan Collins, Barry Blay and Dan Kasaboski established Collins Blay & Co. in March of 1980. Barry and Dan are still with the firm, Stan having retired in 1998.

The firm's client base grew rapidly and in 1990, we welcomed a new partner, Sue Waywell to the partnership. Sue joined the firm in 1989 after being a partner with Mackay and Partners in Yellowknife, NWT, where she did a significant amount of work for First Nation groups and not-for-profit organizations.

We continued to grow and in order to meet the expanding needs of our clients, Leanne Moran joined the firm in 1995 as a manager. Leanne came to us after a successful career with other Kingston-area public accounting firms. She joined the Collins Blay & Co. partnership in 2002.

In addition to our partners, our firm employs two Chartered Accountants, who combined have over 25 years of public accounting experience, and eight accounting technicians.

We presently provide services to a large number of small and medium-sized companies and organizations, many of which are owner-managed. Included in our client base are a broad range of business concerns and not-for-profit organizations.

A significant number of our clients are medical and dental practitioners. We provide practical advice to our health care clients to assist them in structuring their practices in the most tax-effective manner possible.

We also assist a large number of individuals each year by preparing their personal income tax returns and providing them with valuable, tax saving advice.

We pride ourselves on providing service and proactive advice that not only helps our clients address all of their business and personal tax compliance needs, such as financial statement preparation and income tax filing, but also leads to added value for our clients through improved business performance, tax minimization, and wealth protection and enhancement.
